Wetterau Food Services Micro Layout Update

It's taken me almost 5 years to get around to installing crossbucks on the WFS road crossing. A little shunting action video from the other day.




I am also building a new tail track section to accommodate the Mopac Gp15-1 loco. The old tail track section was too short to hold the Mopac unit and 50+ feet rolling stock.

Herrin Micro Build Part 1

Baseboard Construction

I'm using foam core for the baseboard. The baseboard will have tail tracks on both sides for staging/fiddling rolling stock. The tail tracks connect to the baseboard with foam core clips.

The Herrin Micro

My latest micro project will feature a scene located in Herrin, Illinois. I'm building this using the foamcore baseboard method I used on the Wetterau Food Services layout.
