Christmas Eve on the Summit Rwy
My Halt Station Square Foot Challenge Micro Layout is now completed. I added a photo filter of falling snow to the image, but that's the only digital addition to the scene in this photo. I'll be posting a video of snow falling and additional photos of the layout after December 1st.
This was a fun project, and this little layout will be displayed in my house this upcoming Christmas season.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! 🎄☃️❄️

N Scale Micro Track Plan
I recently found a mess of old Atlas N scale track while cleaning out a storage unit. I thought it might be fun to build a new micro in N scale. I am going to build a 24 inch by 24 inch baseboard with either styrofoam or foamcore risers to create elevation. In essence, it's a pizza layout with a branch line running to a mine at the highest elevation on the layout. No precise grades or curve radius, I'm just trying to visualize the layout with these 3D track plans.

Square Foot Challenge 2021
We are conducting the Halt Station Square Foot Micro Challenge over on the Facebook Group. I know not everyone following here uses Facebook, so I am thinking about conducting one here on the blog in 2022 if there is an interest. Here is my current build for the Halt Station Micro Challenge. Total layout size, including staging is 135 square inches. I am using On30 equipment from Bachmann.
