Wiring the layout. Tap splice, bullet, spade connectors, and a terminal strip really helps to speed up the wiring process.

Herrin Micro Build Part 1
Baseboard Construction
I'm using foam core for the baseboard. The baseboard will have tail tracks on both sides for staging/fiddling rolling stock. The tail tracks connect to the baseboard with foam core clips.
